1. Develop a credible system and plan, and run it for the glory of God.
2. The definition of a good plan: “A good plan is one which I find useful to accomplish the goals and mission that the Lord has offered to me; a bad one is any plan I ignore and don’t use.”
3. Number your days so you can apply your heart to wisdom: You can’t do everything, so you’re going to have to decide what you are willing to do, and how you are willing to accomplish it .
B. Holy Spirit-infused project management: Be faithful and commit fruitfulness to the Lord.
1. Managing great projects is not the same as accomplishing the will of God. Only God can provide us with fruit as a result of our labor, 1 Cor. 3.5-7 – What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. [6] I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. [7] So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 2. Only God can ensure that the work we do can or will have lasting impact for the Kingdom of God, John 15.4-5 – Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. [5] I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
3. Work as if everything depends on you, pray as if all depends upon God (for it does).
