Ses s i on 3: The Phases of Pro j ec t Management
2. We ought to pursue excellence in all we do in order that God himself might receive glory and praise as a result of our efforts in the project, 1 Cor. 10.31 – So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
a. This determines the effort we put in it.
b. This will shape the seriousness we give to it.
3. Any authentic change, transformation, or fruit that comes from our project management should be attributed to the Lord alone, Ps. 115.1 – Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!
Prayer and Affirmation to God
Whatever the specific resources required for any phase of project work, God will equip us to do his will and work what pleases him through us. Heb. 13.20-21 – Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, [21] equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
