IV. Implications and Connections for Urban Ministry

1 Kings 4.29-30 – And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind like the sand on the seashore, [30] so that Solomon's wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all the people of the east and all the wisdom of Egypt.

How will you best align your work with the tools and resources provided in this workshop?

A. The importance of relevant tools

1. Find the tools that work best for you in your current ministry environment.

2. Refine the tools for maximum impact.

3. Be free in your use of structures, technologies, methods, and tools. Experiment with various approaches until you find the one which fits best for your situation, means, and challenge.

a. Gal. 5.1 – For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

b. John 8.35-36 – The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. [36] So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
