Ministry Project The goal of the ministry project is not only to apply the learning but also to reflect on what happened as your students shared their insights with others. In their reporting students should both describe what they did and what they learned through the experience. In evaluating the reports look for evidence that the students thought about what happened during the application and gained insight that will help them in the future. Refer to the course syllabus for the point total for this assignment. Exegetical Project Your students should be evaluated on all aspects of the criteria listed in the assignment. (Please note that we evaluate based on the concepts of which they are writing, not the grammar or spelling in their writing. You will find that students are at various skill levels in those areas. The key is the student’s ability to understand the Scripture and explain/interpret it in such a way as to help relate it to their lives and ministry. Refer to the course syllabus for the point total for this assignment. Reading Assignment Your students will most likely have different levels of reading ability. No matter what level, it is important that as leaders, your students read as much as they can and engage what they read. The students are required to do this assignment for each required textbook for the course. Refer to the course syllabus for the point total for the required reading assignments. Final Exam The final exam for most of our courses is a closed-book, closed-notes take-home final. Students are not allowed to refer to anything other than their memory to take this exam (except in some cases where it is specifically written on the final exam that a Bible is allowed).
