bring Good News (Isa. 52.7 and Rom. 10.15). They live, breathe, and love the Gospel. If there is any doubt to the priority and place of the Gospel in the church planter’s life, vision, and strategy, then the planter should not be authorized at this time for the task of missions. 2. A Gospel Presentation D. L. Moody was told by a woman, “I don’t like the way you do evangelism. He responded with, “I rather don’t care for it myself, tell me; how do you do evangelism?” She said, “Well, I don’t.” He replied, “Well madam, I rather prefer the way I do evangelism versus the way you do not do it.” The church planter is well founded in the fact that they are not the bringers of salvation but only the heralds of Good News. Keep moving forward means doing something rather than nothing. The church planter must have a Gospel presentation in which to present. They must know the uncompromising elements in which they can contextualize to reach any culture. 3. I See Souls Closely related to The Gospel Alone is a hunger for souls. They know that souls truly are the currency of the spiritual world. Pastors and assessors will immediately know where the church planters desire is directed. This is observed in the ways I mentioned above: a. Souls are eternal. They do not believe in annihilationism, i.e., the doctrine that only the righteous live on in immortality and that all others are annihilated; their souls cease to exist. b. There is a hell. They are not part of the growing trend of “Christians” who do not believe in Hell. They boldly speak on the doctrine of hell no matter how unpopular
