authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him” (Col. 2.15). Jesus was a literal Trojan Horse, that is, he came secretly to undermine Satan and his kingdom and destroy his works (1 John 3.8). The Lord, the “man of war,” went in disguise into Satan’s domain, bound him, and plundered souls (Matt. 12.29) to set the captives free (Luke 4.18). The chains of oppression and humiliation have been shattered by this Warrior, this Man of War. The Lord, who has been given all authority and power, now calls all of humanity to “COME FORTH” (John 11.43). All who respond and submit to His salvation and Lordship, are welcomed, and received into His Kingdom under His banner. John the Revelator gives us an incredible insight into the Lord’s return when He will set up the visible Kingdom in perfect righteousness, peace, and joy (Rom. 14.17), “Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords” (Rev. 19.11-16). The Lord Jesus is frightening. He is not one to be played around with. He will come to judge and make war with the armies of heaven following Him. It is a terrible and fearful sight as He comes to exact the wrath of God Almighty on all who would not “COME FORTH” and submit to His rule and reign as the risen Lord. These three words, Jesus is Lord, have dismantled Satan and his domain of darkness. Though Satan is the prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2.2), all the authority in heaven and earth have
