Curricula for Your Program Design
The faculty and staff of TUMI are dedicated to providing urban churches and their leaders with the most affordable, biblically based, and culturally sensitive theological resources available. Our attention at our national headquarters concentrates on developing practical, biblical and user-friendly ministry tools for leaders in urban churches. We have an ever-expanding array of theological resources designed especially for urban leaders. They have been tested across the country in specific urban church contexts, presented in seminars, classrooms, and internships offered at our site in Wichita. The Capstone Curriculum is a 16-module training program, taught at a seminary level, which we specifically designed to serve as the most essential knowledge and skill learning necessary for effective urban ministry. In addition, the Foundations for Ministry courses are drawn directly from courses which our professors have taught here at our “Hope School of Ministry.” We have reformatted these courses to make them available to urban churches throughout the country for their use to equip leaders in small groups, self-study programs, and/or formal classroom venues. The staff and faculty of The Urban Ministry Institute are dedicated to facilitating leadership development among urban churches, and intend to produce a wide variety of resources, events, and programs to help in this vision. Please check our web site (www.tumi.org) for a complete listing of our current leadership development resources, as well as updates on new and future resources that we will soon develop and make available for your use.
We have a wide array of theological resources, all of which have been designed with the needs and opportunities of urban church leaders in mind.
