Article V: Adherence to Doctrinal Statement Section 1: An annual signed statement and a continuous actual adherence to the doctrinal statement (Article IV), and a willingness to cooperate on the basis of these bylaws shall be essential for conditions for all directors, officers, faculty members, and other personnel, and co- operating churches (senior pastors will sign on the behalf of the church). Section 2: In order to be admitted, students must sign on their application form that they are in agreement with the doctrinal statement of the Institute (Article IV). Article VI: Membership Section 1: Qualifications. The membership of the Institute shall be made up of “cooperating churches.” A church qualifies as a cooperating church by following these steps: a. Must fill out an application form. b. M ust be willing to support the Institute on a financial basis at least $100 a year. c. Must encourage adults to attend the Institute d. T he senior pastor must sign that the church is in full agreement with the Institute’s doctrinal statement. e. A church’s membership must be renewed annually. Article VII: Board of Directors Section 1: General Powers. The affairs of [your Institute] shall be managed by a board of directors who shall determine the general policies of the Institute, select the director of the Institute, and work with the director to carry out, in the most effective way, the policies and purposes of the Institute. Section 2: Number and Qualification. The board of directors shall consist of six members. Each board member must be a member in good standing with a cooperating church and in full agreement with the Institute’s doctrinal statement. Section 2: Voting Rights. Each cooperating church shall have one vote at the annual Institute business meeting.
