I. The Gauntlet

Answer the following questions:

A. What is the purpose of this project and what do we hope to accomplish?

B. How does this project relate to our vision, i.e., its purposes and objectives?

C. What might be at stake in doing or failing to attempt this project?

D. Who are the stakeholders, i.e., who is this for and to whom may this be really key?

E. How will doing this move us closer to our strategic objectives more than other similar projects right now?

F. After everything is said and done, when you weigh this project against the effort to pull it off, is it still worth doing?

II. Proposal Phase Submit project idea to project manager.

A. Draft Project Proposal.

1. Complete Project Proposal form #1.

2. Fill in the proposal phase of Project Checklist form #2.

3. Submit forms to Project Manager.

B. Review Proposal (to approve, postpone, adjust or reject).

C. Notify Project Leader of decision regarding Project Proposal (Project Manager).
