Allow for Council members to update their personal situation. Each officer can share any prayer requests or special challenges they currently need prayer for.
4. Approval of minutes and discussion of any old business Minutes from previous meeting are read, discussed, and approved. Give opportunity to discuss any old or unresolved issues or business from previous meeting.
a. Status of the Chapter’s finances, membership, and relationship with the sponsoring church/organizations
b. Review of last meeting’s concerns, decisions, and assignments
c. Review effectiveness of Chapter’s previous service project (if necessary) and discuss ongoing status of pending projects
5. Review of Chapter current needs and new business
a. Review and discuss Chapter calendar events, and make sure no conflicts exist for upcoming events and meetings
b. Any pressing or new critical needs observed in the Chapter right now (each officer to address chapter needs/concerns they see)
c. Brainstorm as a Council how observed needs might be met through the Chapter (or other parties). What are some things (goals) we would like to accomplish in this next year (what results do we want)? d. Determine what goals, if any, you as a Chapter will pursue in the coming months, and how, i.e., what service projects will we consider for the next months to address our Chapter’s greatest needs and opportunities?
