3. Through our preaching of the Good News and discipling , we bear witness to Christ and his Kingdom.
a. We announce the Good News of the Kingdom, ministering the Gospel of reconciliation, 2 Cor. 5.18-21.
b. We make disciples of all nations in the place where the Lord has planted us, ministering to those whom he has given us, Matt. 5.13-16; 28.18-20.
B. Good works, hospitality, and generosity: the practical outworking of authentic Christian faith
1. Good works, Eph. 2.10 – For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them (cf. Matt. 5.16; 2 Cor. 9.8; Col. 1.10; 2 Thess. 2.17; 1 Tim. 2.10; 1 Tim. 5.10; 2 Tim. 2.21; Titus 3.8; 2.14).
