manifested in order to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3.8). To love Jesus is to hate the world and set one’s affections on the things above where Christ sits, at God’s right hand (Col. 3.1-3). As a disciple of Jesus, arm yourself with a mind to do battle, for the fight is on!
After reciting and/or singing the Nicene Creed (located in the Appendix), pray the following prayer: Our Father in heaven, we praise Thy Name. We glorify Thy Name and ask Thee that Thy will may be done and that Thy light may break into Thy Church. We ask Thee to guide our ship. We long to be a little part of Thy true, great Church and ask Thee to guide this ship through wild oceans and through all dangers and clefts. Amen.
