a. We produce works against physical disease, malnutrition, and the lack of adequate care for human beings made in the image of God.

b. Furthermore, we as believers stand against human suffering and the numberless causes of that suffering, regardless of where we find persons who are oppressed.

3. We are assured as those called to promote the wholeness of the broken, that God himself will recognize our works, Ps. 41.1-2.

C. Finally, as ambassadors of Jesus Christ, we practice activities to display the Kingdom’s rule of justice.

1. God instructs his people of true worship and authentic sacrifice, Isa. 1.16-18.

2. As ambassadors of Jesus, we work actively to stand against injustice and unfairness at whatever level, wherever we find it among persons.

3. Conditions in urban America and cities around the world today show signs of deep injustice, Eccles. 4.1.

a. As ambassadors of Jesus’ just rule, we are to cry out against all forms of political, social, religious, and personal oppression.

b. We stand for those who are unable to stand for themselves, and speak up for those who lack any voice to represent their rights as human beings, Prov. 31.8-9.
