fulfilled until we preach the Gospel “to every creature.” Let’s make sure that the Church in our generation doesn’t falter in the task, but that we redouble our efforts to make sure that everyone hears the Good News and sees the power of God at work among us to confirm the truth of our message.

After reciting and/or singing the Nicene Creed (located in the Appendix), pray the following prayer: Spirit of God, we pray that You would come upon us in power and make us witness about Jesus to the ends of the earth. Help us to find the lost and to persuade them of the truth of the Gospel. Help us to witness to those near to us, our families and friends, but also help us to witness to those who are far away, who are different from us because of where they live, the language they speak, or the culture they grew up in. Help us to truly preach the Gospel “to every creature” and not become weary in this task as we wait for the appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This we pray in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
