2. The victory that Jesus won on Calvary over the devil will soon be made visible over the entire earth.

a. Col. 2.15 – He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.

b. Heb. 2.14 – Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.

3. The full destruction of the enemy, his demons, the effects of the curse (disease, war, death) are soon to be put down through the authority and work of the Lamb, Rom. 16.20 – The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

G. Christ is the Exalted Seed of Abraham, standing on Mount Zion with his redeemed people, (Rev. 14.1-15.4).

1. The covenant promises of Yahweh to Abraham have literally been fulfilled in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.

a. Gen. 49.10 – The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

b. Gal. 3.8 – And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you shall all the nations be blessed.”
