[16] Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh, vin dicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory. (2) The particular call of the Lord, Rom. 12.1-2 – I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. [21] And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night. [22] The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night did not depart from before the people.
