5. Believers can encourage celebration of the legitimate things within culture which can be joyfully acknowledged as good gifts of God.

6. The body of Christ should take full advantage of the festivals and feasts marked in the Liturgical Year.

7. We can also design new occasions, festivities, and parties all engineered to give those in our midst greater opportunity to celebrate the goodness of God.

8. We must find ways to set aside funds, time, and opportunity in our families and assemblies to allow members to express in creative ways their joy in the Lord.

D. Practical concerns

1. Rethink your Christian life as an ongoing expression of joy and celebration in Christ for the love of God shown in his work.

2. Ask God to help you become more creative and free in your personal expression of the spirit of celebration in your life, your relationships, and in your participation in the body.

3. Obey Philippians 4.4 . In other words, allow yourself to laugh more, to enjoy the Lord in all your work. Seek to cultivate a merrier heart and disposition in your everyday routine.

4. Refuse to turn joy into a predetermined set of practices or items. Recognize that joy is more of an attitude and predisposition than it is a condition or circumstance .
