The Preacher and Teacher should provide immediate and constant feedback like a wise corner-man , 1 Tim. 4.15-16 (ESV) – Practice these things, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1. Build into their hearts and on top of their accomplishments; praise them liberally.

2. Determine that your communication, however tough and critical it may have to be, will in the end build up the receiver, refuse any tearing down. F. The Preacher and Teacher should provide counsel and instruction in a real life context like a championship coach , Eph. 4.11-13 (ESV) – And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
