C. Another inward sign of conversion is the openness to and hunger for the Word of God .

1. Like newborn babes, authentic believers desire the pure milk of the Word of God , the source of their strength and nutrition, 1 Pet. 2.2.

2. The teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit produces new levels of discernment, hunger, and commitment to the Word of God.
