Ps. 119.11 - I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Ps. 37.31 - The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.

Ps. 40.8 - I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.

Ps. 119.97 - Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.

Prov. 2.10-11 - For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul; [11] discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you. Isa. 51.7 - Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear not the reproach of man, nor be dismayed at their revilings. Jer. 15.16 - Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts. Col. 3.16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. The heart of all biblical revelation is the person and work of Christ. This is the plain and unequivocal statement of the New Testament (John 5.39-40; Matt. 5.17-18; Luke 24.27, 44-48; John 1.41-45). To master the Scriptures (and therefore the good news of the Kingdom) is to see the linkages and connections between the work of the Father and the person of Jesus Christ. He is the reason that the Word was penned, and he himself is the very Spirit of prophecy (Rev. 19.10). The heart of the Gospel message is to understand the person of Jesus, who he is, why he was sent, what he accomplished, and how that relates now to those who repent and believe the Good News. The heart of the apostolic preaching is the testimony regarding Jesus Christ (e.g., Acts 2.22ff.; 3.12; 5.35; 13.16; 21.28; 26.26; etc.).
