1. Select and meet regularly with a credible leadership team, cf. Jesus’ example with his disciples, Mark 3.14.

2. Pray daily and fervently for leaders and their families, Col. 1.9-10.

3. Allow the team to participate in all group celebrations and meetings, 2 Tim. 4.2.

4. Take them with you, and explain everything you’re doing: assume they know nothing, Acts 16.1-5.

5. Train them to shepherd and pastor through your example, 1 Pet. 5.1-4.
