1. Governance = God is the Sovereign of the universe, possessing supreme authority to dispose his creation however he wills, Ps. 47.2.

2. God rules over all; the universe and the disposal of history are in his hands, 2 Chron. 20.6

3. It is in God’s hand to turn all human affairs to his purpose, to make great and give strength.

a. God is the Lord of the Kingdom, 1 Chron. 29.11-12.

c. God’s dominion is eternal and touches all the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, Dan. 4.34-35.
