b. I give eternal life to them and they will never perish, 10.28a.

c. No one will snatch them out of my hand, 10.28b.

d. My Father has given them to me (who is greater than all) holds them, and none can snatch them out of his hand, 10.29.

5. I and the Father are one , 10.30.

a. John 1.1-2 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] He was in the beginning with God.

b. John 5.17 – But Jesus answered them, “My Father is working until now, and I am working.”

c. John 5.23 – that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

d. John 14.9 – Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”

e. John 16.15 – All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

f. 1 John 5.20 – And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him
