5. His prayer for himself: Now, Father, glorify me with the glory that I had with you before the world existed, 17.5.

B. Jesus prays for his own, those whom the Father gave him, 17.6-8.

1. His revelation to those that Father gave him, 17.6

a. The ones whom the Father gave to Jesus out of the world

b. They belonged to you, you gave them to me, and they have kept your word.

2. They know that everything that you have given me is from you, 17.7-8.

a. I gave them the words you gave me , and they have received them.

b. They have come to know in truth that I came from you, and believe that you sent me.

C. Christ prays for the eleven, and not for the world, 17.9-13.

1. I pray for them, not for the world but those you gave me for they are yours, 17.9.

2. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them, 17.10.
