Review Mentor Responsibilities with the Mentor, ensuring they understand what they need to do before teaching the module, as well as on a weekly basis. 6. Copy and have them sign the “Mentor Sign-Off Form” in the back of the Mentor Manual. 1. Send student application(s) and pastor reference forms. The right students for your satellite will be: solid, faithful Christians who have a church home; known by their church leaders, and/or under close pastoral supervision; burdened for the city and the poor; currently leading in some dimen- sion in their church, or emerging as leaders; anxious for training, and willing to study hard. 2. Announce upcoming class: e.g., send introductory letters or email newsletters, print flyers, take out an ad in local Christian newspaper, network with local churches. 3. Update list of prospective students and roster. 4. Send financial aid forms. 5. Process student applications and pastor references. 6. Update addresses in database. 7. Record and send invoices. 8. Send acceptance letters and confirmation letters (include class start date in acceptance/confirmation letters). 9. Finalize class roster and give to Mentor. 10. Pray for students. 1. Plan budget. 2. Determine if you want to host courses at other sites. 3. Set academic calendar (work out time frame with your mentor – day and time of classes). 4. Select course curricula (types of classes – e.g. Independent Study, Capstone Curriculum and/or Foundations for Ministry Series ). 5. Order curriculum from TUMI National three weeks before class starts. 6. Order textbooks two-to-three weeks prior to class start (if you pay for an Amazon Prime annual account);
