own gentle prodding and leading as you meditate in his presence on these critical issues.

Again, the power of prayer is well established in the body of Christ, and as mentioned in the lesson above, has a wonderful history in the example of the Apostles in both developing future leaders and establishing Christians in the faith. Like them, we all need faithful intercession and supplication for the needs and challenges we face today. Do not be ashamed to share your personal requests with your mentor and instructor, and with your fellow students. Be ready to seek their prayer support as you seek to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading and instruction in this lesson.

Reading Assignment

Please read carefully the assignments above, and as last week, write a brief summary for them and bring these summaries to class next week (please see the “Reading Completion Sheet” at the end of this lesson). It is also time for you to begin to consider what you will want to do in regard to your particular ministry project, that is, those audiences or places you will want to share your insights about practicing Christian leadership. Also, you should begin to consider which of the given texts you will study for your particular exegetical project. Do not delay in determining either your ministry or exegetical project. The sooner you select, the more time you will have to prepare!
