Day 7

Take a moment and pray before reading the following passage. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to the truth of his Word. If you have time, read the passage more than once—underlining things that stand out to you. “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12.1-2 Heavenly Father, I thank you for the love and mercy you have given me. I thank you for the forgiveness of my sins and for the gift of eternal life through your Son Jesus Christ. I pray that you will guide me each and every day of my life. May I not conform to the patterns of this world, but may I be transformed by the renewing of my mind. May I always offer myself as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to you. Let this be my spiritual act of worship to you, O Lord! May you always be honored and glorified, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
