As you utilize this tool, think of the old Home Depot slogan, “You can do it, we can help.” We believe you have the gifting, talent, and ability to walk with God, and all God needs is a willing participant. It doesn’t matter what situation you may find yourself in, as that doesn’t determine your destiny. God loves and can use you. World Impact also believes strongly in mentoring. We were given a simple command by Christ to go and make disciples. It takes a mentor to help gain a proper understanding of the Bible. Don’t go through this book alone! Find someone to study the principles taught and do life together with them. I have a favorite Latin phrase that I use—Carpe Diem. It means “seize the day.” May you be blessed as you do so.
