Take a moment and pray before reading the following passage. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to the truth of his Word. If you have time, read the passage more than once—underlining things that stand out to you. “But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.” 1 Peter 3.15 Daddy—majestic and mighty you are. We honor you by honoring and adoring your Son, the Anointed One! Jesus, as our Savior, Lord, and King, we exalt your Holy Name! Because you are the center and focus of our whole hearts, we follow your lead as we share the good news with everyone who seeks to know and understand this hope and assurance that consumes our lives. May we glow with an illuminating light as we gently and respectfully invite others to come see you. May the love and honor we have for you drip off of us like honey and cause the masses to “Come, taste and see that the Lord, Jesus Christ, is good!” In your unshakeable name, we pray. Amen.
