Take a moment and pray before reading the following passage. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to the truth of his Word. If you have time, read the passage more than once—underlining things that stand out to you. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2.10 Holy Lord, thank you for being our creator and maker. Father, as we crawl up into your lap and feel your arms and your lavish love wrapped around us, we praise you! For you are the ultimate artist and we are your masterpiece. Even as we allowed your perfect work to get stained with sin, you provided a way for us to be restored and even made new through your precious son, Jesus. Because of your beautiful grace, we can do the many good things you planned for us so long ago. Let us remember this and not take this gift for granted. It is all for your glory! Amen.
