Day 25
Take a moment and pray before reading the following passage. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to the truth of his Word. If you have time, read the passage more than once—underlining things that stand out to you. “I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Ephesians 4.1-3 Our Father and our King, what a privilege it is to know you and even more to be able to serve you. Please Lord, may we live a life worthy of the calling you have blessed us with. What could be more important? Realizing this, help us to honor you by always living with humble and gentle hearts. Give us patience and tolerance to bear each other’s faults, because we are rich in your love. There is no better life to live. Father may we remain strong in your spirit, committed to the peace of Christ, as we live and serve together. May it be only for your glory. You are worthy! Amen.
