Take a moment and pray before reading the following passage. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to the truth of his Word. If you have time, read the passage more than once—underlining things that stand out to you. “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3.13-14 Dear Lord, thank you for my salvation! Thank you that I can live into the present without fear or guilt of my past. Help me to continue on as a child of the King with my head held high walking into whatever you have for me—knowing ultimately that I will sit at your feet in heaven and praise your holy name! Amen.
