Day 28

Take a moment and pray before reading the following passage. Pray that God will open your heart and mind to the truth of his Word. If you have time, read the passage more than once—underlining things that stand out to you. “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.” I Thessalonians 5.16-22 Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you with a grateful heart. Thank you for always being with me and helping me through each and every struggle I face. When I am tempted to despair, help me to pray. When my mind is overwhelmed, help me to pray. When my life is full of blessings, help me to pray. By your power, may I be a pray warrior for you. As I commit my life to prayer, help me to hold fast to your Word—that I might serve and obey you in all I do. Amen.
